The Department of Art and Design is currently undergoing reaccreditation in the 24-25 academic year, aligning our goals with the university's mission to provide students with a comprehensive and innovative educational experience. As the largest program within the College of Liberal Arts, we serve a substantial student population, including 396 majors, 240 minors, and 1,000 non-majors. In line with our mission to deliver relevant and constructive teaching methodologies to a diverse student body, we recognize the paramount importance of adapting to the rapidly evolving landscape of emerging technologies and industry changes. To fulfill this commitment, we seek your support through the TAF to enhance our faculty and students' knowledge and skills. The requested will play a pivotal role in addressing the challenges posed by obsolete equipment and facilitating the integration of discipline-specific items, including research and creative tools unique to our field. This strategic investment aligns with our commitment to ensuring that our students receive an education that prepares them for the demands of the contemporary professional landscape. By bolstering our technological capabilities, we aim not only to maintain our high standards but also to elevate the overall quality of education and research within our department.
