Replacement of Existing Technology

Student Accessible Workstation Replacement. Category 0. This category will include all computer workstations accessible to students in or outside of class, and will include specialized and limited access labs, and computer classrooms. Faculty and staff workstations, and faculty and staff training labs, are not included. Replacement will include the computer workstation, required peripherals and software, including specialized software, but will not include renovations, furniture or other infrastructure. An inventory of the existing student accessible computer workstations must to be completed. The Instructional Technology Committee working with Inventory and Receiving and OIT will develop a replacement priority and replacement timeline. This list will be updated yearly and a spending plan for that year submitted to the IT Committee for approval. This replacement plan does not prohibit the replacement or upgrading of student accessible computers under other appropriate categories.
