Classrooms 104 and 151 have outdated and unreliable classroom projection and audiovisual equipment. Room 104 has been problematic, necessitating multiple calls to ITD or use of awkward methods to get the projector to work. The digital clocks in the room are inaccurate. Room 151 has similar issues. The upgrade of facilities with the standard university-wide AMX console for projection with zone lighting will help improve the technology and provide a process that is familiar to instructors on campus. Bragg 104 is the main lecture classroom in the College of Mass Communication, accommodating up to 80 students per session. Bragg 151 is a 40-person classroom. The large Bragg 104 classroom holds 15-20 classes with approximately 1,000-1,200 students per week, and Bragg 151 has a similar number of classes with about 500 students per week. The school’s three Mac labs — 108, 110, and 228 — need operating-system upgrades to the room’s computers. Apple Remote Desktop will allow lab instructors to control the lab computers.
