The College of Behavioral and Health Sciences is a group of diverse, but interrelated departments. Responsibilities from education (with over 5000 undergraduate and graduate majors), to training in the health professions (HHP and Nursing) and to basic and applied research (Psychology and all departments) are some of the areas that have discipline specific equipment needs. Requests run the gamut from specific patient/health related equipment for Nursing, test kits for Intellectual Achievement, Neuropsychological and Learning disabilities from School Psychology, eye tracking, sound measuring needs from Experimental Psychology, as well as EEG upgrades, to specific mobile metabolic measurement systems for HHP and other exercise related equipment. It has been acknowledged, by national experts, that these areas are and will be in critical need of new people, in the future, who are trained in these disciplines All DSE requests will meet the growing needs for the area disciplines of this college and the growing Middle Tennessee region.
