Current Focus: Development of a Consortium Approach for the Efficient Production of Bioethanol from Lignocellulosic Biomass

Project Description

The elimination of the need for sequential sugar consumption by the use of substrate selective approach allows for simultaneous fermentation of both glucose and xylose. Overall, this speeds up fermentation process to improve economic viability.

This topic is interesting because it could allow the US to make their own gas.

What are your professional aspirations?

I want to be a general dentist. I have started studying got my admissions test and am wanting to apply this summer!
