When MTSU transitioned to Remote classes, you probably started using Discussion Boards in your courses to create engagement and supplement lectures. Now you have to assess those discussions. This can seem like a labor-intensive task, but the rubric tool in D2L can help. This Zoom workshop, facilitated by an MTSU Online Instructional Designer, will walk you through creating and using rubrics to accelerate your assessment without minimizing your valuable feedback. A sample discussion rubric will be shared as well as other tips and tricks for this important component in your Remote or Online courses.
