You are invited to join a group of colleagues who will be reading and discussing the book An Urgency of Teachers: The Work of Critical Digital Pedagogy, by Sean Michael Morris and Jesse Stommel.

The publisher describes the book as follows: “This collection of essays explores the authors’ work in, inquiry into, and critique of online learning, educational technology, and the trends, techniques, hopes, fears, and possibilities of digital pedagogy. The ideas of this volume span almost two decades of pedagogical thinking, practice, outreach, community development, and activism.”

This book group will be facilitated by Michelle Conceison and will meet four times via Zoom:

  • Sept. 16, Sept. 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 28
  • 9-10 AM
