In a concentrated effort to share information and guide the development of best practices across the region, MTSU is sponsoring the Institute of Experiential Learning open to all faculty members interested in incorporating high-impact practices into their courses.  This professional development event is being offered free of charge to all higher education faculty members.

Experiential Learning:  Persisting Through the Pandemic

Lead faculty members of the EXL Scholars Program will share an overview of the award winning experiential learning program at MTSU with a focus on course development, student interest, and several assignments unique to the EXL Scholars Program.  Faculty members will share their expertise regarding methods for incorporating experiential learning into academic courses, how to locate and foster community and corporate partnerships, and how to evaluate the students on the learning outcomes. Presenters will share how they have met the challenges of offering experiential learning opportunities during the COVID-19 pandemic.  We hope to you will join us online on June 15.
