You may have heard the buzz about text analysis, artificial intelligence, big data, or large language models. The techniques and skills behind this buzz allow researchers to consider knowledge at non-human scales (both very big and very small). In this session, we will look at various text analysis methodologies and learn how to use Constellate, a new text analysis service from ITHAKA available to everyone at MTSU, to deeply explore text and introduce these computational literacy concepts to your students.
