Advisor Mastery Program (AMP) Reading Group (formerly iShare)

Each semester will focus on one specific text, and the reading will be broken into four manageable portions. Everyone is welcome to participate. Reading groups will be capped at a certain number of participants to better facilitate discussion, so it is possible that there will be multiple zoom reading discussions running at once. Each reading session is worth 1 point.

Panel discussion with three Admissions Recruiters sharing recruiting strategies and processes that are currently in place here at MTSU as well as feedback that they hear from parents, students, and stakeholders regarding advising needs and development areas for improvement. This session will seek to build a discussion between two stakeholder areas to further improve and meet parent and student needs as relates to the transition between admission and advising. This session includes the Adult Degree Completion Recruiter, who will discuss developing partnerships with businesses and share discussion on tailoring advising to specific corporate need.
