Advisor Mastery Program (AMP) Workshops

These workshops will focus primarily on advisor skill-building and knowledge-building. Potential topics include:

• Technical/Software/Administrative skills (Excel, TEAMS, ARGOS, reading high school transcripts, etc.)
• Advising approaches and best practices
• Legal/Ethical issues in advising
• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Workshops will be offered twice a month, and will generally be worth 1 point (unless otherwise stated). Workshops will vary in terms of being offered in-person or via zoom.

Join Hedi Convery, certified StrengthsFinder Coach, for a half-day professional development session unlocking strengths 6-10. Prior to the session, attendees will complete the StrengthsFinder assessment. This session is for advisors who either attended Session I in the previous semester or earlier in the day and would like to go further in depth with strengths 6-10 for a deeper understanding of strengths, weaknesses, and potential. Must be registered to attend. Unlocking all strengths prior to September 6 is required. NOTE: To unlock your full strengths list, go to press.gallup.com/code/sf2 prior to the session. Login using your previously created login information. There will be a fee of $39.99 to unlock your remaining strengths. It is suggested that you consult your individual college for assistance with this fee.
