With an increase in mental health issues on campus, it is imperative for faculty to be knowledgeable and prepared to work with students who are experiencing various mental health difficulties. This workshop will provide an overview of common signs and symptoms of mental health issues. Moreover, this workshop will provide various interventions faculty can implement to de-escalate mental health crises and create a classroom environment that fosters community and promotes emotional well-being.
