Research with Animals
The Office of Research Compliance is committed to the humane care and use of all animals used for teaching and research at the University. Historically, many advances in science have resulted from animal research, and animals continue to play an integral part in scientific research. It is important for researchers to realize that maintaining healthy research animals in a stable environment is essential for quality research. Compliance is necessary to support research efforts, and by working together, the highest quality of animal research will be promoted.
