Fernando D. Cifuentes Sanchez was born and raised in Guatemala, the "Land of Eternal Spring," where the beauty of the skies and towering volcanoes inspired his passion for aviation. In 2016, he moved to Tennessee to pursue his dream, earning a B.S. in Aerospace from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and obtaining FAA ratings as an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic.

Fernando D. Cifuentes Sanchez was born and raised in Guatemala, the "Land of Eternal Spring," where the beauty of the skies and towering volcanoes inspired his passion for aviation. In 2016, he moved to Tennessee to pursue his dream, earning a B.S. in Aerospace from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) and obtaining FAA ratings as an Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic.

Shortly after beginning his career as an aircraft mechanic, Fernando returned to MTSU to earn his Master of Science in Aerospace Safety and Security. With nearly half a decade of professional experience and expertise in various airframes, he now shares his knowledge in the classroom, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning in the ever-evolving world of aviation.

Fernando believes that in aviation, much like in life, the journey of learning never ends. He is dedicated to fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to explore, innovate, and grow alongside the advancements in the aviation industry.
