Bystander Intervention Training
More Details
Facilitators:
Dr. Maigan Wipfli, Director of June Anderson Center for Women and Nontraditional Students
Danielle Bratton, Office of Violence Against Women Project Coordinator
Description
This initiative works to create safe and supportive campus communities where students and faculty are equipped with active bystander skills to safely intervene in situations related to domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking. This training teaches students and educators about power-based violence issues, consent, bystander intervention, and how to provide support to those affected by violence. By reaching out to every Blue Raider, we can end gender-based violence on campus!
