An active shooter on a university campus is a rare event, but faculty, staff and students need to be prepared.   Being safe is a skill that can be learned, and the resources below can help. University Police officers are available to provide training for responding to an active shooter incident. The Avoid Deny Defend training is designed to better prepare MTSU community members to respond to an emergency of this nature.
