Angie, founder and owner of Boyd-Chambers Communications has a passion for her work and building relationships. She most recently served as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer for Ascension Saint Thomas Health, where she spent nearly 15 years of her corporate career. In addition to building her dream of owning a communications firm, she most recently has been fulfilling another dream of being a lecturer at the College of Media and Entertainment in the Journalism and Strategic Communications department at Middle Tennessee State University, her alma mater wherein 2014 she was honored of being inducted into the College of Media and Entertainment Wall of Fame.

Angie first joined Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital as the Public Relations Director, where she managed marketing and communications for the 286-bed hospital. She led PR and marketing efforts for a $267 million project for Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital's replacement facility. In 2011, she took on Saint Thomas Health system-level responsibilities in Community and Physician Services, then Marketing & Communications. Before joining Saint Thomas Health, Angie worked with StoneCrest Medical Center, a member of HCA, and when living in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, she worked for JHA Marketing as a product specialist and facilitator for BMW and its Mini Cooper division. 

​Most recently, Angie has been accepted into the International Society of Female Professionals, one of the worlds leading professional associations for women. In 2014, Angie received the honor of being added to the Mass Communications Wall of Fame at Middle Tennessee State University. She was selected as a 2015 honoree by ATHENA International and was a recipient of the Rising Star award by Rutherford Cable, a professional women's leadership organization. She served as co-chair for the 2014 Rutherford County Heart Ball, benefiting the American Heart Association of Greater Nashville, served on the Board of Directors for ATHENA International, and the Executive Leadership Committee for the Go Red for Women movement with the American Heart Association. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University, a master's degree in Public Relations from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, and a 21st Century Advanced Leadership Certificate from Lipscomb University in Nashville.
