Admissions & Enrollment Services provides vital information to potential and current students. Dr. Laurie Witherow serves as Associate Vice Provost for Admissions & Enrollment Services. Departments in this area include:
The MT One Stop provides integrated services in the areas of financial aid, course registration, tuition and billing, and transcripts. They will assist students in navigating the processes necessary to keep them enrolled in classes and on track to graduate. We also house the university’s Registration and Scheduling offices in the MT One Stop to serve the course scheduling, academic room scheduling, and registration processes for the campus. Tyler Henson is the Director of the MT One Stop. Our office is located on the second floor of the Student Services and Admissions Center, connected by bridge to the MTSU Student Union.
The Registrar’s Office provides grade reporting, attendance reporting, degree posting and reporting, academic standing, curriculum and undergraduate DegreeWorks maintenance, maintains student records, FERPA education, commencement participation, and name change services to the MTSU community. Susan Fieldhouse is the Registrar. The Registrar's Office is located in room 150 of the Student Services & Admissions Center.
The Undergraduate Admissions Office provides admission services to freshmen, transfer, re-enrolling and non-degree seeking students. Linda Olsen is the Undergraduate Admissions Director. Blue Elite, a student organization at Middle Tennessee State University that gives campus tours is based out of the Admissions Office located in room 120 of the Student Services & Admissions Center.
Enrollment Technical Services
The Enrollment Technical Services Office provides enrollment technical support to students, faculty, and staff for the student information system. This office coordinates report requests, student information system security, and enrollment reporting. We provide training and enhancements for the Banner system. Teresa Thomas is the director, and the office is located in room 120 of the Student Services & Admissions Center. This office is dedicated to serving students, faculty, and staff and is committed to providing timely, accurate, and efficient services and information while maintaining the integrity of all student academic records.
The MTSU Financial Aid Office provides assistance to qualified students who would otherwise find it difficult or impossible to attend Middle Tennessee State University. Stephen White is the Director of Financial Aid. Their office is located in room 260 of the Student Services & Admissions Center.
