Meet the Cast

Aaron Gaines (Charles/ Mr.5/ Mrs.4) is a Senior at MTSU, where he has appeared in The Taste of Sunrise & Raised in Captivity. Aaron is most well known for being blocked by Josh Peck on Twitter. He is extremely excited to work with such an incredible group of actors!

Parker Chase (Daisy/ Mr.6/ Mrs.5) is a senior at MTSU. She is thrilled to be back on the stage once again. She has been previously seen in Peter Pan (Peter Pan), A MidSummer Night's Dream (Puck), and A Taste of Sunrise (Maizie's Signer). She wants to thank Conner for this amazing opportunity, and she is excited to be making art with her friends. God bless!

Kyle Street (Joe/Head/Mr.2/Mrs.1/Dancer) is a sophomore at MTSU majoring in theatre with a focus on performance. This is his second production here at MTSU as he has previously appeared in A Taste of Sunrise (Dr. Mann). Kyle would like you to know that, for fun, bears have been known to huff barrels of jet fuel until they pass out.

Serenity Calhoun (Judy/Mr. 3/ Mrs. 2/ Singer) is a transfer sophomore and is very excited to start her first year at MTSU. She would like to thank her friends and family for their continuous support, as well as, APO and the theatre department for providing her with this opportunity. 
 

Kate Hollyfield (Mrs. Zero/ Dancer) is a freshman at MTSU from Johnson City, TN. Her past work includes The Diary of Anne Frank (Mrs. Van Daan) at Providence Academy as well as stage manager for Godspell and Mary Poppins. She is delighted to be apart of The Adding Machine and is looking forward to her future at MTSU.

Chad Lynch (Policeman/ Boss/ Dancer) is currently a Senior at MTSU, and is a Theatre major with a teacher licensure minor. He is very grateful for this wonderful opportunity to be a part of The Adding Machine and knows that the show will be a great success. Chad would like to thank his family for their love and support and everyone involved in the show for helping him along the path to a better understanding of the art of Theatre.

Regan Holmberg (Shrdlu/ Mr.4/ Mrs. 6) is a Computer Science major in her Junior year at MTSU. She has worked with the MTSU Theater Department and APO once before in Next to Normal, as well as performing in various shows in Nashville, Franklin, and Atlanta. She would like to thank her wonderful fiancé Adam and their two beautiful fur babies for their endless love and support. 
P.S. The word "Shrdlu" is actually one half of a nonsense phrase containing the 12 most used letters in the English language, the phrase was frequently used by proof readers. Enjoy the show!

Luke McGuire (Young Man/ Mr.1/ Mrs.3/ Dancer) (or Lucas, he responds to both) McGuire is a sophomore theatre major at MTSU. You may have seen him in Act Too Players productions of Grease (Danny Zuko), Into The Woods (Baker), and Les Miserables (Thenardier). He is excited to be a part of this production and would like to thank the cast and crew for this experience. 

Robbie Ramirez (Zero) thinks he might be a senior, it’s hard to keep up. His favorite meal is two pepperoni hot pockets with a side salad. He owes all of his success and talent to his best friend, Donovan Hughes, without him none of this would be possible. Robbie lives his life by one motto: “A simpleton’s mind hits many notes of din”. It’s a palindrome. No it isn’t. Thank you for coming.

Meet the Artistic Staff

Conner McCabe (Director) is a Senior Theatre Major with an emphasis on direction. Other directing credits at MTSU include Raised in Captivity, Fuddy Meers, and Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind. Next up, Conner will be directing Smokefall with The Where House. He would like to thank his partner, Brianna Smart, for everything. Get into contact with Conner at connermccabe.com! 

Cailin Hurley (Assistant Director) is a senior theatre major at MTSU, and this is her first time assistant directing! Her recent MTSU credits include A Midsummer Night's Dream (Hippolyta), Wait Until Dark (Susy), and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Pharaoh's Attendant). She would like to thank her family and friends for the constant love, support, and laughter. A special thanks to her best friend, her Mom. It's all for you. 

Megan Inmon (Scenic Designer) is a senior theatre major with a focus in scenic artistry. She has been the charge artist for shows such as A Midsummer Night’s Dream and The Taste of Sunrise. She would like to thank Justin Reed, Todd Seage, and Darren Levin for all their help and encouragement throughout this process and the years hear.

Margaret Shivers (Assistant Scenic Designer) is still a fairly new face to the MTSU Theatre department and is super excited for the opportunity to get her hands dirty and learn! She is a double major in Studio Art and Theatre. She is extremely excited and humbled to have met so many amazing friends and mentors in the program who have taken her under their wings. She would like to thank Megan Inmon for taking her on, and showing her the ropes. As well as her Family for inspiring her and supporting her so much!

Mary Moreland (Costume Designer) is a senior at MTSU. She is a theatre major with an anthropology minor. Mary has worked on shows such as Nashville Shakespeare's production of Hamlet and A Midsummer's Night Dream. She has had a blast doing costumes and makeup for this show, and it has really challenged her creatively. Always remember to smile! It increases your face value!

Erin Featherston (Lighting Designer) is a sophomore theatre major. Her other Student Success Series credits include Raised in Captivity, Wait Until Dark, and light crew on Hand to God.
