Sandy Flavin (Dotty Otley/Mrs. Clackett) is excited to be making her debut on the MTSU stage. Her most recent roles include Kitty in Guess Who’s Coming to Seder, Bitsy Mae Harling in Sordid Lives, Delightful in Dearly Departed, Patsy Cline in Always Patsy Cline, Lurlene in Daddy’s Dyin’, Who’s Got the Will?, Beach Blanket Babylon, and Rosie in Bye, Bye Birdie. When she’s not performing she loves to play the saxophone. She dedicates her performance to her mother. She appears in this production courtesy of Actor’s Equity Association.
Aaron Gaines (Llyod Dallas) is a Senior at MTSU, where he has acted in The Taste of Sunrise (Roscoe), Raised in Captivity (Kip Dixon), and The Adding Machine (Charles/others). He is so grateful to be working with such incredibly talented people.
Aaron would like to thank his family and friends for their endless love and support.
Brandon is thrilled to be a part of a MTSU production. He has previously been in The Royale () at MTSU and The Seagull at Pellissippi State.
Alexa Pulley (Brooke Ashton/Vicki) is a sophomore and is majoring in Theatre and Spanish
at MTSU. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a lively show and
to work with such a wonderful cast and crew. She hopes this show is as exciting to
see as it was to work on!
Nate Bumpus (Frederick Fellowes/ Phillip Brent) is a Junior Theatre major at MTSU.
He previously played the role of Charles Whitmore in Church and State and Carlino in Wait Until Dark.
Sheridan Hitchcox (Belinda Blair/Flavia Brent) is a Senior majoring in Theatre and
minoring in Women’s and Gender Studies. Some of her favorite roles include: Dracula (Lucy Westenra), Anne of Green Gables (Anne), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Puck), and The Apple Tree (Eve). At MTSU, her favorite roles have been: Brighton Beach Memoirs (Nora), Hand to God (Jessica/Jolene), and Raised in Captivity (Bernadette Dixon). In summer 2018, she directed This is Our Youth with local theatre company, The WhereHouse, and continues to be involved in the company
and on the board as Educational Director. Sheridan will graduate with her degree in
May 2019, and is thrilled to be completing her time at MTSU with Noises Off!. “For doors and sardines. . . that’s the theatre. That’s life.”
Ben Spurlock (Tim Allgood) is a junior at MTSU, and a Theatre and Education Licensure
major. The first time he saw Noises Off! was about four years ago at Region 4's Tennessee Thespian Conference, and it was
also performed at Tucker Theater. He is thrilled to have the opportunity to perform
in this play, and hopes you all enjoy the show!
Derek Whittaker (Selsdon Mowbray) received his B.S. in Theatre from MTSU and holds an M.F.A. in Acting from UT Knoxville. A professional actor for more than twenty-five years and an adjunct Professor of Theatre at MTSU since 2015, he has performed frequently with a number of nearby companies, including Nashville Repertory Theatre, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Nashville Children's Theatre, Studio Tenn and Chaffin's Barn. This production marks his second show with Mrs. Shamburger at the helm, having previously appeared as "Doc" in 2016's West Side Story, and he is very grateful for her continued friendship and unwavering support. Special thanks and love to Jeff Gibson and the entire Department of Theatre and Dance, including this talented and hardworking cast and crew and, most importantly, to his beautiful mother (and biggest fan) Joyce Gambill.
