Meet the Cast

 

 
Devin Bowles (Jay) cannot describe how excited he is to be apart of another production at MTSU. Devin is currently a Junior and studying a B.S in Theatre and Dance. His recent roles at MTSU include A Midsummer Nights Dream (Theseus)and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Pharaoh). Devin has also been seen on stage in Nashville at Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theatre where he played the role of Curtis in Sister Act and Pastor Bruno in the Regional Premier of Freaky Friday: The New Musical.

 

 
Brandon Phillips (Wynton) is a brand new transfer student at MTSU and is thrilled to be performing here. His previous credits include: The Seagull, Stupid Fucking Bird, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, and A Little Murder Never Hurt Anybody. He would like to thank the cast and crew for all of their efforts.

 

 

 

Katlyn Marion (Nina) Katlyn is very excited to be a part of this show and to bring this character to life. Past productions she has been a part of include the Evil Stepmother in Cinderella, Elizabeth Procter in The Crucible, and Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical. She hopes you enjoy the production and thanks you for coming out to see the show.

 

Jamil Parrish (Fish) is a 18 year-old Nashville native and a recent graduate of the founding class of KIPP Collegiate High School. Though he first tasted acting during his elementary years at Fisk’s summer mini-college, he returned to the art about three years ago. Some highlights of his burgeoning career are his portrayal of Pvt. Smalls in A Soldier’s Play by Charles Fuller, playing Craig in the original play titled 12 of Whatever, lastly his performance as Dontay in also original piece The D.

 

Matt Bailey (Max) in his Senior year at MTSU, is in his second Centerstage Production and he feels privileged to be a part of the intimate cast that is The Royale. Feeling most uplifted by work revolving around social awareness, Matt looks to future creative opportunities that empower under-represented voices.

 

Morgan Marshall (Ensemble) is a Junior majoring in Theatre. She transferred to MTSU from Tennessee Wesleyan University and is excited for her first role in an MTSU production. Past credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey 2) and The Penelopiad (Maid/ Telemachus). She feels incredibly honored to work with the cast and crew of The Royale and hopes that you enjoy the show!
