MTSU Advising social and network opportunities. This can include Brown Bag lunches, Mentorships, Social Hour, Potlucks, etc. 

Connects will be offered once a month, and will generally be worth 1/2 point (unless otherwise stated).

The Advisor Training Committee brings you the following Targeted Training: A Deep Dive into Scholars Academy & S.T.A.R.S. In this session, Scholars Academy Manager Brelinda Johnson and Assistant Manager Travis Strattion will provide overviews about MTSU's early arrival programs. This workshop will discuss the process for students, accessibility during CUSTOMS, how to help students register for related courses, and what is being done to make these programs sustainable. Advisors will walk away with a stronger understanding of strategies and best practices for supporting their first-generation, underrepresented, and Pell-eligible students.
