MTSU Advising social and network opportunities. This can include Brown Bag lunches, Mentorships, Social Hour, Potlucks, etc. 

Connects will be offered once a month, and will generally be worth 1/2 point (unless otherwise stated).

Join us for Advisor Show and Tell – Favorite Resources Exchange, an interactive session designed to celebrate the knowledge, creativity, and expertise of advisors across campus. 

Participants are invited to share one of their most valuable resources, tools, strategies, or "nuggets of knowledge" that has made a positive impact on their advising practice. Whether it is a technology tool, communication strategy, student support resource, or professional tip, every advisor has something valuable to contribute. 

This session focuses on collaborative learning and idea sharing. Advisors will have the opportunity to learn from one another, discover new approaches to common challenges, and build connections with colleagues from across campus. 

Come ready to share, listen, and leave with new resources, fresh perspectives, and a growing collection of ideas that can enhance your advising work and support student success. 

Session Goals: 

• Promote knowledge sharing among advisors 

• Highlight advisor expertise and innovation 

• Encourage cross-campus collaboration and networking 

• Create a collective resource library to support advising practice
