University PoliceThe mission of the University Police Department, in partnership with the University community, is to protect life and property, to support the educational mission of the University through maintaining an orderly environment conducive to positive learning experiences, to resolve security problems, and to apprehend law violators in a manner consistent with national law enforcement standards.

Edwin Kaup is the Assistant Vice President of University Police and Chief of Police. Their offices are located at 1412 East Main Street (approximately 150 feet on the opposite side of the road from the MTSU main entrance). Their regular business phone is (615) 898-2424.
