Biography
Jenny Sauls, PhD, MSN, RN, CNE, Professor of Nursing has been at Middle Tennessee State University for 32 years and was the recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award in 1996 and 2007. She has served on numerous committees to include Faculty Senate Liaison and Steering Committees, Chair of Chairs' Council and President of the TN Deans and Directors. Read More »Jenny Sauls, PhD, MSN, RN, CNE, Professor of Nursing has been at Middle Tennessee State University for 32 years and was the recipient of the Outstanding Teacher Award in 1996 and 2007. She has served on numerous committees to include Faculty Senate Liaison and Steering Committees, Chair of Chairs' Council and President of the TN Deans and Directors. In addition to her faculty role, Jenny currently serves as the Director for the School of Nursing. She has served as a member of the American Heart Association Rutherford County Board of Directors, June Anderson Women's Center BOD and scholarship committee, the TriStar StoneCrest Hospital Board of Trustees, Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Council, and serves as a leader at the international level for Sigma Theta Tau, International (the Nursing Honor Society). Prior to the start of her academic career, she practiced as a certified Critical Care Nurse and continued that practice well into her academic life. Her research interests include Predictors of Student Success in Nursing, Student Study Habits, and Pain Management.
