Biography
Originally from Middle Georgia, "Mac" began working in the theatre while in high school. He attended Georgia College & State University, where he graduated with a BA in Print Journalism despite spending more time in the theatre than in class. After two futile years of trying to break into the newspaper business, Mac returned to his first love - live theate - and enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Southern Mississippi. He attended Georgia College & State University, where he graduated with a BA in Print Journalism despite spending more time in the theatre than in class. After two futile years of trying to break into the newspaper business, Mac returned to his first love - live theate - and enrolled as a graduate student at the University of Southern Mississippi. He graduated with an MFA in Theatrical Design and Technology in 1997. Mac has worked as an educator, a designer, and a technician thougout the Southeast. In his off time Mac noodles around on the guitar, likes to get grease under his fingernails tinkering around with old cars, plays a very bad game of golf, and enjoys getting his hands dirty gardening.
