General Education Course Assessment Process

Approved General Education courses undergo periodic review (every five years) in the MTSU General Education Course Assessment Process. This process was implemented by the General Education Committee in academic year 2011-12. Department faculty prepare a report summarizing the activities (assessments and modifications) that have occurred since the course was last reviewed. These reports are evaluated by the Assessment Subcommittee of MTSU’s General Education Committee. The report template and example reports can be found below.
