If you have an interest in teaching band, orchestra, choir, or general music in the public schools, MTSU is the place to study! With faculty members who specializes in music education pedagogy, practice, and research, the MTSU School of Music prepares future music teachers and equips them to instill their future students with performance skills and musical understandings. Hands-on experience in schools begins during the freshman year and continues all the way to student teaching.
