Scholars Week is a weeklong tradition during which MTSU's academic colleges celebrate scholarship, research, and creative activity through a variety of events and activities.

CBAS Scholars Week 2022
The CBAS Poster Session will be held in the atrium of the Science Building on March
22, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded for the top poster presentations
at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels.

Students and faculty are invited to join us for CLA Scholars Day 2022. The event will feature scholarly and creative presentations as part of MTSU Scholars Week. Participation from all disciplines within the college is encouraged, as are interdisciplinary proposals.
Presentations will be made in the following categories:
- Individual Research Presentations by students and faculty (approx. 15 minutes)
- Panel Presentations (30-60 minutes)
- MTSU Arts Projects – creative performances by students and/or faculty
To participate, please complete the online form: CLA Scholars Day Presentations.
Submissions must be received by Friday, March 4.
CLA Scholars Day will also feature the MTSU Scholars Week Annual Speech Contest, hosted by the Department of Communication Studies. The event, co-hosted by the College of Liberal Arts, is open to any current MTSU student who has completed or is enrolled in COMM 2200 through the University. Additional information and applications for this event are online at www.mtsu.edu/speechcontest.

The CBAS Poster Session will be held virtually in 2021 and be available for viewing April 12 – 23, 2021. We invite all CBAS Faculty and Students to visit the CBAS Poster Session via Symposium. Access to the event will be available beginning April 12 by visiting this website https://symposium.foragerone.com/mtsuscholarsweek/presentations. To view the CBAS poster submissions, please select "Basic and Applied Sciences" under the College tab. Winners at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral levels for the CBAS Poster Session will be announced on Friday, April 16.
