June Anderson Center: The June Anderson Center for Women and Nontraditional Students provides student support services conducive to learning and personal development for all students on female-centered topics. We also serve adult students who generally work full time, are married, have children, and other adult responsibilities beyond their college experiences.

Dennis Bain Memorial Fund - One-time annual award is given to an adult student who is currently enrolled at MTSU and has taken a distance learning course. Must have at least a 2.5 GPA and 60 earned hours. Preference to student with financial need. learn more
AAIA Displaced Homemaker Scholarship - The Association on American Indian Affairs offers Displaced Homemaker Scholarships in the amount of $1000 each, to those men and women who would not otherwise be able to complete their educational goals due to family responsibilities. Funds may be used to assist with child care, transportation and basic living expenses, etc. in addition to educational costs. Disbursement is made during the first semester. Applicants must be full time students. This scholarship does not automatically renew. Students are eligible to apply on a yearly basis. Deadline for application is July 20. learn more
Adult Students in Scholastic Transition (ASIST) Program - The program provides financial support and guidance to adults in the community who are in a variety of transitional situations. To be eligible for the program, candidates must be able to identify their career goals and objectives along with meeting the necessary educational and financial requirements. learn more
Ruth Houston Memorial Scholarship - The Murfreesboro Branch of the American Association of University Women will award a $1,000 scholarship each semester - Fall 2011 Semester and Spring 2012 Semester - to the MTSU undergraduate student who best demonstrates academic promise and financial need. To be eligible for consideration, applicants must have successfully completed their freshman year at MTSU. Returning adult students, in particular, are encouraged to apply. The scholarship is renewable each semester as long as full-time status and a 2.5 GPA are maintained. Application materials are due April 1. learn more
The Non-Traditional Student Scholarship - These scholarships are available for a student returning to the classroom after some period of time in which his/her formal schooling was interrupted or a student who has had at least one year of college and is in need of financial assistance to pursue an undergraduate degree. The applicant must be a member of The American Legion, the American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion. The student must be enrolled in at least six hours per semester or four hours per quarter. One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded in each Division. learn more
Royal Neighbors of America, Nontraditional Scholarships - RNA's "nontraditional" scholarship program provides educational support to members who don't fall into the usual college age range. Fifteen scholarships are open to persons age 23 and older. Two scholarship amounts are available: $500 for part-time students and $1,000 for full-time students. learn more
