Degree Advancement Program

man seated at an mtsu commencement ceremony The Degree Advancement program makes transition easier for students who earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree to transfer credits to MTSU towards completion of a Bachelor of Science degree in either Integrated Studies or Professional Studies

Integrated Studies allows students to design their own majors or select a concentration in Applied Leadership or Public Safety.

Professional Studies offers concentrations in Information Technology, Organizational Leadership, International Organizational Leadership, and Health Administration.

An associates degree provides an excellent foundational basis and opens many doors. For many, the next step in their education process is to pursue a bachelors degree. Now, through partnering with select community colleges within the State of Tennessee we are extending our reach by providing an opportunity for students in the surrounding areas of Rutherford County to complete a four-year college degree at MTSU.
